In The GDPR, personal data is defined as any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person.

The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Trustee Body of ReBorne is the data controller.

We use personal data for the following purposes:

To enable us to provide a voluntary service for the benefit of the public in a particular geographical location.

To administer membership records;
To manage employees and volunteers;
To maintain our own accounts and records (including the processing of gift aid applications);
To inform you of services, news, events and activities.

Processing of data:

ReBorne complies with obligations under GDPR by keeping personal data up to date.
By sorting and destroying it securely.
By not collecting and retaining excessive amounts of data.
By protecting data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure.
By ensuring appropriate measures are in place to protect personal data.

Personal data held is for all those who regard ReBorne as their Church family or who have regular contact for the purposes of being informed about services, news, events and activities.
There is no disclosure to third parties without consent.

We will retain electoral roll data while it is current.
Gift aid declarations and associated paperwork will be kept for up to six years after the calendar date it relates to.

Your rights and your personal data:

You have the following rights with respect to your data:
The right to request a copy of your personal data which we hold for you;
The right to request to correct data if it is found to be incorrect or out of date;
The right to request your data is erased where it is no longer necessary that it is retained;
The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time;
The right to request that the data controller provide the data subject with his / her personal data and where possible to transmit the data directly to another data controller (known as the right to data portability);
The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data to request a restriction on further processing;
The right to object to the processing of personal data (where applicable);
The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office;
